The Teachings of The Apostle Paul, and The Way of Salvation

$24.95

The Teachings of The Apostle Paul, and The Way of Salvation, by S. Van Mierlo, is our book in review. The two titles of this book can best be explained by listing them separately even though they cover similar topics. First we will examine the many revelations that Paul was given.

Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, was given Special Revelations that The 12 were not given, nor did they fully understand. Paul had instructions for those living in Acts Times, and for Saints and Faithful today. GOD'S divine plan of dealing with Israel was interrupted, and a new plan is revealed concerning the "Mystery of The One Body". The differences and the methods of how we can grow in our spiritual understanding, is what this book attempts to convey to the reader.

Several references to the author's book The Divine Plan are made, and it helps us to understand our present book, when we have knowledge of GOD' S overall purpose in creation, that GOD will finally be "ALL in ALL". The nation Israel, and Her Twelve Apostles, were used to try to bring about this great plan, but because of Her failure they were temporarily set aside.

This book tries to span the gap and fill in what the Spirit was doing during Acts Times, and beyond. The epistles that Paul wrote contain many messages, or "Good News" for those who believe. By listing whom the messenger was, and whom they were addressing, it allows us to look at Acts Times with a new and fresh approach. After Acts Times the Apostle Paul is given a New Revelation - The Mystery - the Above-Heaven Calling, along with the rules for faithful living.

That is where the second part of this book, The Way of Salvation, comes into view. Each of us need to consider the Holy Scriptures, and the literal interpretation of them, then application can be made as to whom, and when, it might apply to us. It is true that we may find ourselves out of step with so-called "church tradition", but we will be approved of GOD, only as we "Rightly Divide" His Word (2 Tim. 2:15).

At the conclusion of each of these two parts, there are several appendixes that give more detail about subjects that the author wanted to explain. Here are a few:
1.) Paul's Epistles, and The Above-Heaven.
2.) The Church, the Body, Christ The Head.
3.) Communion with HIS Sufferings.

We did not agree with all of the author's conclusions concerning the way, or the groups that he put believers into, but I find this a New Approach to understanding GOD'S PURPOSE of THE AGE, so therefore I recommend this book as PROFITABLE.
