Revelation

Revelation 1:1

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him,
to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass;
and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

James wrote:

I am confused; Revelation was written in the A.D. 90's, and Paul died in the A.D. 60's, according to Christian tradition. Is this not correct? and what evidence do you have that it isn't?
Teach me,
James

Dear James,
God Bless you, and thank you for your question. Revelation was written by John on the Isle of Patmos and addressed to Hebrews and proselyte Jews then and in the future:

Rev. 1:4  John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

Rev 1:9  I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The Bible does not tell us how or when the apostle Paul died, and history does not provide us with any information. The only thing we have to go on is that Paul pronounced divorce on Israel around AD 62-63 and then lived in his hired house for two years, was then imprisoned and most likely beheaded in Rome in the late 67-68 A.D., during the reign of Nero.

Acts 28:25  And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,
Acts 28:26  Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
Acts 28:27  For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Acts 28:28  Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.
Acts 28:29  And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.
Acts 28:30  And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,
Acts 28:31  Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

2 Tim. 4:6  For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
2 Tim. 4:7  I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
2 Tim. 4:8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

All God's Blessings,
